Tetleys in Australia

The Tetleys of Australia trace their ancestry back to England through a variety of individuals.

One of the more widespread of families are descended from William Mathew Leach Tetley (1820-1873) who married Elizabeth Jane Redknapp in 1847 in Sydney.

Another immigrant was William Tetley (1852-1923), a grandson of the Joshua Tetley who established the Tetley brewery in Leeds.
